We built Sextant AI because every company in a supply chain makes decisions on incomplete information about the others. Years of running complex, multi-party procurement taught us that the hard part isn’t the transaction. It’s getting organizations with mismatched data to work together.
What we believe
Supply chains can manage risk the way financial markets do. Market participants start with what they know, acquire the information they’re missing, and use contracts to shape the risks they hold. Supply chains have lacked that infrastructure: no shared data, no way to trade answers, and risk-sharing contracts that only the largest firms can negotiate.
What we’re building
Sextant is a trusted data layer for supply chains, with three ways to use it. AI agents help teams run sourcing, demand planning, inventory and network decisions. An intelligence marketplace lets partners ask each other specific questions and pay for the answers. A risk contracts exchange lets trading partners write contracts to share the risk that remains.
